Técnico fala sobre reforços do Fluminense
Na partida contra o Santos, Renato Gaúcho escalou Lucho Acosta e Santi Moreno como titulares no Fluminense. O jogo marcou a primeira partida do colombiano no XI inicial e a segunda vez que o argentino inicia uma partida. Logo após a partida, o treinador comentou sobre a escolha durante a coletiva.
Santi Moreno é titular pela primeira vez no Fluminense
Recém contratado pelo Fluminense, Santi Moreno recebeu sua primeira chance como titular na partida contra o Santos. Anteriormente, o colombiano entrou no segundo tempo contra o Bragantino, quando fez sua estreia. Renato Gaúcho comentou a escolha:
“Os jogadores foram contratados para se juntar ao nosso elenco para jogarem. Então, dependendo do adversário, dependendo do que a gente precisa, eu coloco os jogadores em campo. O Santi, mais cedo ou mais tarde, tinha que começar uma partida. Resolvi colocá-lo hoje. Ele já está adaptado ao grupo, já conhece bem os companheiros. Conversei bastante com ele ontem pra ver se ele se sentia bem pra começar a partida. Ele falou que sim, que tava se sentindo bem. Mas é normal, todo estrangeiro precisa de uma adaptação. Mas essa adaptação ele vai pegar durante os treinamentos e durante os jogos. Então por isso que eu optei para que ele começasse a partida.” – Renato Gaúcho após a partida
Acosta volta a ser titular no Fluminense
Também contratado na atual janela, Lucho Acosta iniciou a partida contra o Bragantino como titular. Na ocasião, participou da jogada do primeiro gol e também fez o seu primeiro com a camisa tricolor. No entanto, pela Copa do Brasil, o meia entrou apenas no final da partida contra o Bahia. Contra o Santos, por outro lado, Renato Gaúcho novamente deu a oportunidade para ele começar como titular.
